There are four Nuclear Medicine Physicians
in the group:-
Dr Patrick Butler
Dr Richard Quinn
Dr Ramy Nour
Dr Scott Beuzeville.
Each physician has trained in Australia and overseas and all spend some part of the week at each of the practices. All the practices are fully accredited by the Diagnostic Accreditation Imaging Scheme of the Commonwealth Government with all the Nuclear Medicine Technologists being fully accredited by the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine.
There is always at least one Nuclear Medicine Physician at each practice and are available to provide advice on the appropriate Nuclear Medicine scan for a particular patient and to discuss any case or issue that may arise. We understand that while Nuclear Medicine scans are simple for us to understand, the jargon is sometimes very difficult for general practitioners who do not regularly need Nuclear Medicine scans.
Each practice has several gamma cameras and each practice has a modern SPECT/CT camera. Each practice also provides Bone Mineral Density assessments.
Nuclear Medicine Therapy for outpatients can be provided at any of the above practices with inpatient Nuclear Medicine Therapy being provided at St. George Hospital.
